Chrissy Schulte

Our next star is Chrissy Schulte

Originally born in Germany Chrissy developed a strong interest in the performing arts as a child and participated in local music and theater productions. At the age of 8 she took up classical piano lessons and a few years later singing lessons. She then became a member of the Drei-Groschen-Theater in Stuttgart directed by Helmut Herzfeld, a former student of Bertold Brecht. A few years later she received a diploma in Jazz/Popular Music (Voice) from the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Arnhem, Netherlands. There she was invited to the annual Singer/Songwriter Festival at the LUX in Nijmegen.

After graduating she moved to New York City where she worked with acting coach and director Richard Scanlon and opera singer Kenneth Scott. Some of her credits include Dreamgirls (Symphony Space), Lady Macbeth (Producer’s Club) and Amateur Night (Apollo Theater). Her credits in Chicago include Into The Woods (Northeastern University), Guilty Conscience (Towle Theater) and A Wonderful Life (Memorial Opera House) where she also recently graduated from Columbia College in Theater/Acting.
Currently Chrissy is working on a new album with John O’Keefe in Woodridge, IL and she also just finished one with producer Mike Wilder at Valpotrax Studios, Valparaiso, Indiana. This is her first production with the Sigman Brothers and she’s very honored and excited to be part of it! She will be playing two roles, but we won’t tip our hand and reveal those here. You will just have to come and see the show!

Our  star is Rhys Read.

Rhys is very pleased to make his first appearance with the Sigman Brothers and this outstanding cast.  He will be portraying the dual roles of Father Michel and Sir William Ragsdale.

He most recently appeared in La Petit Mousqetaire at Devonshire Playhouse.  Other favorite roles include DaHjaj qeylIS qa’ (the Ghost of Christmas Present-and good luck pronouncing that name!) in A Klingon Christmas Carol (Raven/E.D.G.E. Theatre), James the Greater in The Gathering (Improv Playhouse), Joe in Solstice (CityLit Theatre), Ian Smithton in The Other Place (Albright Theatre), and Father Dunbar in The God Committee (James Downing Theatre).
Rhys is a graduate of the Second City improv program and appears monthly in an improv show with the Time Travelers Theatre Ensemble in Schaumburg.  Rhys would like to thank his wife Alma for her continuing encouragement and support.

Rhys is a joy to work with, and his energy, sense of humor and enthusiasm are contagious. We look forward to a long partnership with him!

Brian Cruz

Our next star is Brian Cruz.

This is Brian’s second show with The Sigman Brothers.  His prior time was our first production of JOAN. He is playing two different roles for us this time, but I won’t reveal those here…don’t want to ruin the surprise!

Aside from being an actor, dancer and singer, Brian also works with young people as an acting coach and director. One of his other passions is the study of stage combat. Brian is the fight choreographer for this production of JOAN.

You might recognize Brian’s face as he has appeared in numerous television shows and commercials. You can follow him at BrianLCruz.com.

The Sigman Brothers expect more great things from Brian and can’t wait to work with him again!

Haley Gadzik

Our next star is Haley Gadzik.

A Seattle native, Haley move to the Chicago area in 2016. This is Haley’s first production for the Sigman Brothers. Haley is playing several supporting roles in JOAN, and we are glad to have her in our cast.

Haley studied Psychology and Theater at Whitman College in Walla Walla. Haley trained at the Eugene O’Neil Theater Center in 2015.

On a completely different note, Haley is currently training to become a plumber!

We feel lucky to have her working with The Sigman Brothers.

Darryn Glass

The next star in The Sigman Brothers firmament is Darryn Glass.

This is Darryn Glass's second time appearing with the Sigman Brothers. He was a crucial part of their production of ETUDE this past summer.  Darryn is a mild- mannered computer programmer by day and a passionate actor by night!  He holds an AA in voice, has studied acting in Chicago (Acting Studio Chicago and The Green Room), and continues to study voice privately.  He has been in shows such as Odd Couple, Einstein's Gift and an original play called Wormwood, along with understudying for 3 plays in the last year.

Recently, he has been seen on camera in several student films, a couple of feature films (one award winning) and a Web Series called, "The Natural" (http://thenaturalseries.com/).  Darryn is excited to join the cast of Joan with friends from ETUDE and new friends to be made.  You can see more of what he is up to on his web site at http://darrynglass.actor.

Gina Phillips

Our next star is Gina Phillips, who will be playing a number of roles in JOAN and other upcoming productions. This is Gina’s first appearance in a Sigman Brothers production.

Gina got her training at the Goodman School of Drama/DePaul University. She has worked in independent films and local commercials.

She recently appeared in Waiting Room, an original play and appeared in Bleacher Bums in a production near Wrigley Field during the week of the Cubs World Series!

With her effervescent personality and sense of humor she will be wonderful to work with.

Edward MacLennan

Our next star is Edward MacLennan. His upcoming role of Cauchon in JOAN is Edward’s 4th production for us. Previously he has portrayed Holmes in THE DEVIL IN WHITECHAPEL, Ravel in JOAN and Alkan in ETUDE.

Edward is a wonderful actor with a powerful tenor voice that has an incredible range and penetrating quality.

His first Sigman Brothers role of Holmes in “DEVIL” was, to put it mildly,  a tour de force. Edward’s performance captured the chameleon-like qualities of Holmes and his singing was truly stellar.

Previously he has tackled such challenging roles as Jesus in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, The Judge in SWEENEY TODD, and the Phantom in PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.
We are proud to be working with Edward again.

“I’m excited to be performing again at Pheasant Run, and thrilled to work with Sigman Brothers. Everyone I met so far has been extremely welcoming and friendly.  I am extremely grateful for the opportunity they have given me to be a part of their original creations! “

Audrey Webb

The next star in the Sigman Brothers galaxy is newcomer Audrey Webb. Audrey will be portraying St. Catherine in our upcoming production of JOAN. This will be her first appearance in one of our shows.

Audrey just finished the play Alice in Wonderland at Geneva High School where she is a freshman.  Audrey is also involved with the GHS choir and Thespian Society.

Audrey has appeared in a number of professional and community theater productions including Paulette in Legally Blonde and Christmas on Broadway with the Fox Valley Repertory company at Pheasant Run.

We were impressed with Audrey’s talent and amazed at the professionalism displayed in one so young.

Audrey is very pleased about appearing in JOAN.

“I’m excited to be performing again at Pheasant Run, and thrilled to work with Sigman Brothers. Everyone I met so far has been extremely welcoming and friendly.  I am extremely grateful for the opportunity they have given me to be a part of their original creations! “

Dan Wilson

Our next Sigman Brothers star is Dan Wilson. Like Heidi, Dan has appeared in two shows previously for the company; Jacques in JOAN and as Schechter in ETUDE. His wonderful baritone voice compliments a powerful stage presence and an engaging and energetic acting style.

Dan is a classically trained lyric baritone from Zionsville, IN.  His off-stage activities include carpentry, audio recording, directing, and teaching.  Dan is extremely excited to be a part of the upcoming production of JOAN in the pivotal role of the King.

Dan’s infectious sense of humor, enthusiasm and professionalism make him a very valuable asset to any organization. He is always thinking and his frequent ideas and suggestions are always timely and ingenious. We are grateful to have his as part of the team.

Heidi Reinhofer

As part of The Sigman Brothers ongoing plan to create as much interest as possible in their production company and upcoming projects we are adding a page to our website titled STARRING…

On this page every few days we will be featuring a cast member from one of our upcoming shows, a member of The Sigman Brothers production team, or one of the expert advisors that we work with to bring our shows to life.

We couldn’t think of a better person to launch this new feature than Heidi Reinhofer, who will be playing the starring role in our next production of JOAN which opens at Pheasant Run Main Stage Theater on March 23, 2018.

This is the third role Heidi will be stepping into for The Sigman Brothers. She previously played St. Catherine in our premier production of JOAN at The Woodstock Opera House in 2017 and then took on the role of Colette in ETUDE which ran over the summer. She will be reprising this role in October at Pheasant Run.
Heidi is a truly multi-talented woman! She is an artist, model, actor, and singer-songwriter who is already making a name for herself in the Chicago metropolitan entertainment industry.

Check her out on her website: https://www.heidireinhofer.com
Heidi is a joy to work with, full of contagious enthusiasm for any project she is a part of and a true professional. She already has all of her music memorized and mastered for the upcoming production of JOAN. She is working hard to bring the role of the 15th century legend to life.
